Georgi Sharkov

Managing director of ESI Center

Graduated from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, faculty of Mathematics and informatics, dissertation on “Artificial intelligence”, applications in genetics and biophysics. He leads over ten international projects in Europe and USA (e-business, exchanges).

Since 2004 he directs the Eastern European Center of the European Software Institute that has supported the competitiveness through improved quality of the industry from 12 countries, over 50 companies and innovative start-ups. He works with the Carnegie Mellon University for IT management program in Bulgaria.

Krum Hadjigeorgiev

CEO of Melon, Inc.

Krum is founder, member of the board of directors and in 2007 CEO of Melon, Inc. – leading Bulgarian software company. He has over 10 years of entrepreneurial and executive experience in the software industry in Bulgaria. Key areas of specialization of Krum are general management, strategic business development, sales, marketing and product development.

In addition, for the last 7 years Krum has an active role in developing the software industry in Bulgaria and the region with his place on the board of directors of BASSCOM (Bulgarian Association of Software Companies) where he participates in export promotion of the Association and groups for developing the brand.

Aleksander Kovachev

Aleksander Ivanov Kovachev, born in 1976 in Sofia. Graduated bachelor of accounting and finance from University of National and World Economy, master of economics from University of National and World Economy, EMBA from the University of Sheffield. Specialization in Austria /“DO&CO”/, Germany, Spain /”El Bulli”/, Russia /”Concord Catering”/.

Over the last 12 years he is executive director and partner in “Red Devon Catering” AD.

Rumen Iliev

Rumen Iliev is a Partner at LAUNCHub (Launch hub), a EUR 9M seed & acceleration fund, focused on investing in bright entrepreneurs from Bulgaria and the region with ideas mainly in the ICT sector.

Rumen is co manages portfolio relations and selection process. He works closely with companies from the LH Accelerator program helping them achieve their goals. He is keen in helping startups to refine their business model and perfect their pitch.

Rumen is an MBA, MSc in Finance. Before joining LAUNCHub he had his own business consultancy practice focused on solving business issues and helping companies and their management to achieve various business goals.

Dilyan Dimitrov

Dilyan is a founder of Eleven Accelerator Venture Fund, a EUR 12 million investment fund focused on early stage startups in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. He has more than ten year of expertise in the the private equity and venture capital industry in Bulgaria and the region, and has worked on transaction in the field of media, healthcare, financial services, and consumer goods for more than USD 100+ million.
